I’ve been building terrible websites since the late nineties, and decent ones starting around '04. I still make bad ones for myself on occasion, but only good sites are offered via Black Fish interactive.
By day I develop award-winning websites and online tools for iMarc, a full service web development company in Newburyport, MA. At iMarc I function as a senior developer, working in all aspects of development for my team, ranging from database design, to back-end coding, to front end design implementation, to interface design and usability. As Black Fish interactive I do everything: design, information architecture, IT and IS consulting, application development, you name it.

SixSeeds is a nationwide nonprofit focused on family based service and giving. Their site is packed with resources for families looking to serve locally and well as worldwide. SixSeeds provides grants, sponsors service projects and offers insights and advice all via it’s website.
Black Fish has worked with SixSeeds for over two years, providing information architecture and conceptual work during the initial launch, creating initial design compositions and the first iteration of the SixSeeds content management system (CMS). Since the launch the CMS has been expanded, blogs and interactive advice columns have been built and designed, and the look and feel has evolved into what you see today.

Guard Support of Massachusetts stands by the families of the National Guard, providing emergency assistance in a quick and personal way. Guardsupport.org provides Guard members and their families quick access to the funds and resources they need.
Black Fish interactive built tools that allow Guard Support staff to manage online resources, news bulletins and events quickly and easily. BFi provided graphic design for the site as well as Guard Support's logo and collateral. The improved online donation workflow was instrumental in helping Guard Support raise over $250,000 in under a month.

Hayward Area Historical Society acts as a steward to the history of the Hayward area in California. They offer special events, workshops and classes, as well as maintain a museum and three histroical properties.
Working closely with the society as well as Consulting Within Reach, Black Fish produced an updated architecture for Hayward's new site. Multiple tools were built that allow Hayward to sell products and memberships, showcase exhibits and collections, and present updates to the community.
